Andy-li, our flat mate is looking for a job anywhere on the globe come mid April or so. Anything exciting happening where you are? Any offers?
And how are you by the way? Coming anywhere near the nation of the katalaners this summer maybe? Our plush spare room is at your convenience.
Speaking of spare rooms, buhman, did you book your continental flight for Espain?

Thanks for offer. I don't think I'll be back in the summer. Maybe Christmas. Not sure about jobs here. There always seems to be something going at the British Council but there's a lot of moaning and grumbling so perhaps it's not surprising. A lot of teaching jobs in Japan start in April.
There's bar work here but the pay is rubbish. There seems to be a lot of call for very old women to push heavily-laden carts up very steep slopes. I don't suppose that's very well-rewarded either.
What did your bathroom look like before?
Was it all new and IKEA-esque when you moved in and you spent the last few months making it look '70s again?
Was it something of an aesthetic backlash against the rising tide of conformity among young homemakers choosing low cost colourful decorations in a market saturated with economic instability?
The bathroom looked the same but we had a huuuuge steal ehm... cupboard or bathroom cabinet or whatever they're called, with lot's of weird details and manky mirrors. The room gained 4 m2 when it was gone.
And the tiles are staying for ever and ever! Me gustan. Mucho. We also have cool 70's details on the taps. Think krillo had a pic?
