Yes, Erik, you are right. They been asleep under the thick ice. We had a airpump keeping a hole in the ice to keep a healthy supply of oxygen to the fish. When the temperature in the water goes below 10 degrees they stop eating and just chill, which means it is soon time to start feeding them again.
