The swedish news tonight were the worst shit I have ever heard. I felt physically ill for hours. I am sure I will have nightmares.
I won´t fill you in on the details, coz it is nasty shit. On one hand I am disgusted by the crime itself and I almost feel ashamed for being a human being, and on the other hand I am disappointed with swedish television that chose to describe the act of the crime so thoroughly. I need some good news to regain faith in mankind again.

Yes, it´s the Bobby story. In short it was this adopted kid who got tortured to death by his foster parents. In the worst possible way. Makes me cry. Really.
Urgh. On a smiliar theme (ie: family abuse) I just read a good book called "Stuart: A Life Backwards" By Alexander Masters. It's about a violent alcoholic whose (anti-social) behaviour seemed to stem from his brother doing bad things to him, then his brothers friend, then his teachers, then his wardens at the children's home. Nasty nasty bastards. Interesting book, though: written in revirse order so as see how he became a "monster".
i´ll fetch a copy of that book...
