The water we pay for......mmmm

For a while now I´ve been blaming my dry skin and caspa on too much work, shit and stress in my life, but after a recent visit to Ireland all cleared up and then returned after a few days back in environmentally friendy Barca. I decided that it must be chlorine and decided to buy a shower filter.

Holy Jesus! This is the latest chlorine news from sepulveda.

"The chlorination of water supplies began early in the twentieth century as a response to cholera and typhoid epidemics (water-borne pathogens) which were killing many people. It worked; people stopped dying of cholera and typhoid. Instead they began developing cancers, arteriosclerosis, heart disease and other chronic degenerative diseases, years later."

"Every time you step into a hot, steamy shower, the pores of your skin open to the sensation of heat and water. Your body acts as a giant sponge and absorbs chlorine and other contaminants present in municipal water supplies. Likewise, the water vapor and mist created by the hot shower water is inhaled through both your mouth and nose, depositing any toxins present in your water along your entire respiratory system."
