That time of day again...

Jeez... where's a working man like me supposed to eat around here? With my trusty bicycle temporarily out of action (the brakes are broken as I snapped a cable when some retarded old "woman" crossed the street without looking - a Catalan sport, it would seem - and then I snapped the calipers (what holds the brake cable to the frame) trying to fix it). Damn.

Gràcia is like a ghost town.Everything except the scummiest of scummy "restaurants" (with their Ayuntamiento-approved menus that don't differ from L'Hospitalet to Badalona with their crap "ensalada mixta" and "bistec a la plancha" and yoghurt straight from the pot every single day of every single year) and I don't want to get the metro as I'd probably pass out from heat exhaution before I get there and the moped is fun, but I am scared of getting caught without insurance, if that's the case, and I never feel like cooking before I leave the flat to take lunch with me. Double damn. It's like being between a rock and a hard place.

Where's Andy hiding these days? Don't they have Blogger in Asia? Maybe he's too busy perfecting his karaoke version of "Suspicious Minds" with teenage nymphomaniac backing singers.

JAjajaaj, the menu dilemma, why don´t you go for that number 2 combinado, you know, the one with the two sausages laid upon that fried egg´:) The one so saviourly(?) presented on that photo outside the restaurant. No need to suffer though, in no time you will order nice grilled chicken with rucula-sauce in Chicago!

I hate photos of food. It's either enough to put you off, if the pictures are bad, or the food looks amazing in the picture and when you get the food it doesn't resemble it at all. Sandwiches are the worst for that: they look HUGE and fresh and delicious on the photo but limp and soggy in your hand.
