Did you know, that for the first Jimi Hendrix album, "Are You Experienced?" he went to visit an amplifier maker inthe States (after returning from England) to ask him to make one that was really really loud, with an earthy and warm, yet still fairly-clean sound. The guy did it and decided to make more versions the same and sell them...his name was Jim MARSHALL. Fascinating, eh?
