What I want for Christmas

Yes, it's an all-talking, all-singing muñeca of a Latin American populist dictator idiot who is hopefully going to lose the elections on Sunday. It'll be worth a fortune in the future if you keep the original box (that's what Hugh Scully would have said).

Last call for the black hole!

Happy Birthday Andy!!!

34 sunshining years. I´ll have a toast or two to that! Chin Chin!

Snap, Crackle and Pop (an article about analog crackles by Momus).

In the 1990s, something strange happened to crackle.

About 15 years ago, I was cutting an album at Porky's Prime Cuts, a mastering studio on London's Shaftesbury Avenue. Those were the days when you couldn't just record some music and burn it onto a CD yourself; you had to take it to expert middlemen to have your recordings level-matched, equalized and prepared for the three formats of the day: CD, vinyl and cassette....

Flat once again

...maybe we're going for this one
here

Keep your fingers crossed that no rich Danes will show up to raise the bids.

A new winter is here

Fresh early morning with temperatures way below zero. And you wonder why I grow a beard? If I could I would grow fur as well.

One morning driving to work with my neighbour, chit-chatting about the weather and such, I told her that it´s nice to see the colours changing in the fields as the seasons are changing. From light green, to dark green, to brown, to grey and black and finally covered in white snow... As you can see in the photo the green fields are turning brown now. To kill the joy she told me that the brown colour isn´t natural, it´s because the farmers spray toxic shit on the fields to kill the weed they don´t like.
And someone told me it was so ecological and nice to live far away from the city. My ass it is. Not only do I have to live in all this toxic chemical shit, I also have to drive our thirsty car at least 50 kilometers per day, at least.
Hook me up with a nice, warm flat and I´ll be moving in before you get to say fastighetsskatt.
